My Path to Becoming a Personal Blogger

My Path to Becoming a Personal Blogger

I ceased blogging for a period starting in 2020, during the COVID quarantine. The hiatus stemmed from my focus on establishing a nonprofit. However, the endeavor proved more challenging than anticipated, lacking the necessary support for success. Additionally, blogging became overwhelming, given my sporadic posting and lack of audience growth.

I needed to define the purpose of my website to manage my situation effectively. While domestic abuse is my passion, I felt confined by focusing solely on this topic. I grappled with generating content and questioned the style and audience of my writing. These uncertainties weighed on me for some time.

To compound matters, upon attempting to update my website, I discovered that Siteground had unexpectedly shut it down due to an expired credit card. This setback meant starting from scratch, which left me frustrated.

Before creating a new website, I embarked on research to address my lingering questions. I prayed for clarity regarding my path as a writer, seeking guidance on whether to expand beyond my existing endeavors.

Recognizing God’s purpose in all aspects of my life, I continue to seek His clarity. I ponder the purpose and impact of sharing my experiences and how it can benefit my audience.

Clarity is essential before moving forward. I am a survivor of abuse, a domestic violence advocate, a registered nurse, the author of “A Path to Hope: Restoring the Spirit of the Abused Christian Woman,” and a passionate photographer who enjoys traveling.

In the next phase of my life, I aspire to become a life coach, empowering women facing life’s challenges to reach their full potential.

Through my research, I discovered that personal blogging resonates with me. It allows me to share my life experiences authentically, integrating all facets of my journey. As a personal blogger, I can educate readers on domestic abuse, share my photography adventures, and discuss my aspirations for retirement.

I want to invite you to join me in my journey of overcoming domestic violence and self-discovery. Through my photography, I aim to capture the beauty of God’s creation and its ability to offer solace during difficult times.

Faith serves as the cornerstone of my narrative. It sustains me through life’s trials and is integral to discussing abuse, travels, and personal growth. Relying on God’s wisdom alleviates the pressure of having all the answers.

My goal is to instill hope in my readers, inspiring them to embrace change and realize their potential. Regardless of the challenges they face, I want them to recognize God’s blessings and share in His glory.
