ABOUT ME
Rose Saad has worked as Registered nurse for 34 years. Throughout her career, she has treated many victims of domestic violence and saw that trained professionals often misunderstood these women. When Rose herself became a victim of domestic abuse, she gained a deeper understanding and compassion for the victims she encountered in the ER.
Despite being an active member of her faith community, she struggled to find faith-based support and spiritual books about domestic violence. She took the initiative to establish a support group within her faith community and later expanded it to include women from other Christian faith communities. She has developed extensive written material to guide the group discussions and help women find encouragement and clarity in scriptures.
Recognizing the value of her material, she decided to write a book called “A Path to Hope: Restoring the Spirit of the Abused Christian Woman” to empower women to understand domestic violence dynamics and find freedom from abuse through scriptures.
Rose is also an experienced inspirational speaker on the topic of domestic violence and has served on the Survival Board at the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) Fatality Review State Implementation Team. She frequently speaks at faith community women’s conferences and domestic violence conferences, aiming to encourage and inspire women to believe in their own ability to change their lives.
In her pursuit of personal growth and understanding human behavior, Rose is an avid reader of spirituality and psychology books. She believes spiritual life is a crucial part of the human experience and aims to inspire others to reach their full potential. In her free time, she pursues her love for photography and aspires to become a professional photographer, hoping to gain new insights through the camera’s lens as she travels the world. Rose has three adult children.
